As a student in the MAET (Masters in Educational Technology) program, one thing that I appreciate is the emphasis on revising iterations of our work. CEP 810 has challenged me when it comes to iteration and revising my work. I think that this has defined my experience in the class because not only have we discussed it as a topic in class, we have also focused on iteration to improve the work that we have turned in. I have had to focus on that a lot. I appreciate the emphasis on improving our works because nothing is ever perfect. There is always something that can be improved. I have been challenged to improve a lot of things in this class. While it may have been frustrating at times, in the end it has made me more critical of myself and what I produce for classes.
An example of this was our final essay. The assignment was to revise an essay from the beginning of our class and use knowledge that we have gained to further improve our work. I appreciated this opportunity because it allowed me to improve something that was previously considered polished. I was happy that I could add on to this essay to expand my argument with the learning that I have experienced over this short period of time.
Overall, I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to get better and challenge myself to be better in this class. The video that I am including at the end of this is a video that I like to watch to remind me that you've got to keep focusing on improving. I appreciated the chance to do that in this class and I feel like I am better because of it.
