A Little Bit About Me
Thanks for stopping by!

I am a proud Michigander who has lived in multiple places around the state. I was born in Saginaw, went to high school in Grand Rapids, went to college at Michigan State University, and now live around Detroit with my wife and our cat, Gumbo.

I am a proud Spartan! Michigan State University is where I learned some of the most important lessons of my life. While at Michigan State I received my Bachelors in History Education as well as Spanish Education. I was also a regular at the MSU running club and MSU football, basketball, and hockey games.

Since graduating from Michigan State I have been blessed to work at Osborn High School in Detroit where I teach Government, Economics, World History, and AP United States Government and Politics. I am also a coach at the school and work with a number of great athletes in cross country and track.

I love being athletic and enjoying sports. I am also a runner myself who loves running full and half marathons around the country. I also love spending time watching the Detroit Red Wings on TV or in person when I am not running or playing hockey.
Traveling is a big part of my life. I aspire to travel to as many places as possible. I have had many amazing experiences traveling the United States as well as Europe where I was lucky enough to travel for a study abroad program. I love exploring everything from big cities like London, to small towns in northern Michigan.
Thank You for taking some time to get to know a little bit about me!
